Who: Jenny’s kids were both in high school. She was home to raise her kids and volunteered part-time with a couple non-profit organizations. Jenny felt ready for a bigger challenge and decided to get back in the workforce.
Challenge: While it can be tough to re-enter the workforce after being out for many years, volunteer work can be transferable to the professional world. Jenny was not sure what type of job she would pursue. She was in the finance field before having kids.
